Scope:
18 acres of abandoned properties plagued by gangs and violence. New construction and renovation resulting in 484 rental units extended to over 28.8 acres. Construction included a new Community Center which houses a Computer Learning Center that serves over 900 adults and children and a daycare facility. Renovations included new pitched roofs, windows, heating and cooling systems, and updated unit finishes, including new cabinets, carpets, vinyl flooring, appliances, and plumbing fixtures. Extensive site work, included improvements to roads, walkways and common areas.
