Scope:
Construction of a new 96,000 sq. ft. school and the renovation of a 6,500 sq. ft. observatory building, as well as a 5,000 sq. ft. historical residence. Complete site upgrade included new sidewalks, lighting, drainage system, sewer systems, decorative railings, landscaping irrigation systems, etc.

Challenges:
After preliminary site, architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings were completed; R2D compiled a budget estimate which exceeded the $29,000,000 budget.  Through value engineering, R2D brought the budget in line and the project was approved.  R2D bid the project in which total quotes fell below the budget estimate.  The project was completed under budget and the school opened as scheduled.
