R2D Corp., was founded in 1989 as a woman owned business enterprise. Since then, R2D has provided Construction Management services for more than 275 projects, with an aggregate value of more than One Billion Dollars. Our primary focus has been on three markets: Commercial/Retail, Education, and Multi-family Residential with construction budgets that range from $5 million to $50 million. This focus has been driven by clients that appreciate our ability to get our projects delivered on schedule and within budget.

R2D will become involved during preconstruction to prepare preliminary budgets, perform constructability analyses, evaluate value engineering and prepare bid documents and detailed construction schedules. R2D typically uses an ‘AT RISK’ Guaranteed Maximum Price form of agreement to act in the capacity of Construction Manager at Risk.

R2D understands the importance of budget, schedule and quality. Once bids are received, R2D will prepare a detailed analysis of all bids by bid package and invite the Owner to participate in detailed scope reviews. No recommendation for award is made without a thorough review to confirm a contractor’s understanding and acceptance of its scope of work, the project schedule and any other requirements critical to the project’s success. During these reviews, R2D will often collaborate with subcontractors to participate and offer value engineering ideas to save on your construction costs. As a rule, advancing from preconstruction through to completion, R2D acts as an extension of the owner and as your partner. During construction, R2D will utilize the latest technology and tools to manage the construction for document management and coordination with the Architect, Engineer and any other members of the Client’s team.
